I study the tarot, evolutionary enlightenment, and the Bible, not necessarily in that order. I am a vegetarian working toward vegan. I teach college and design theatrical scenery for my day job. You can find me at work with a power tool in one hand, a scale rule in the other, a roll of drafting paper under one arm, giving instructions and climbing over scenery in high heels. My three cats, Kitten, Gray, and Puma are teaching me how to meditate. They practice it all the time, and I think they may be doing yoga when I'm not watching.

I had a vision I want to share: I was meditating and I realized that my body was uninvolved, I was nothing more than a spark of light. I noticed that all around me were other sparks of light, like molecules in space. We were all humming together, making incredible music. Then we started to move, and we slid into a giant funnel. When we came out the bottom we dispersed into millions of sparkles of light and I could see the earth below us. Each sparkle came to the earth and became a consciousness for a human being in a body. But as I listened, I could still hear, very softly, the music we were all a part of, deep down in the core of each person.

I don't know if it was a stray thought or a memory, but it was a profound experience.
